When we got here 3years ago, this jack fruit tree

When we got here 3years ago, this jack fruit tree was so damaged! It barely had leaves and the trunk had been peeled off by our own goats. It was so disappointing and I was so mad all this happened because of our absence. Hubby relentlessly took care of it, he even made a barrier around it using wire mesh. One day I was so sure it was not going to make it so I just told him to give up on it. Guess what, he didn’t! At the time the guy who was in charge of our home asked me why I was giving up on a tree that I planted from seeds to seedling and even reminded me that the day I planted it here it was raining and that didn’t stop me from planting it. I had actually forgotten about it, or maybe I just didn’t want to remember it because I was so sure I was loosing it after all the struggles.
Today it is here with it’s very first fruit because my husband didn’t give up on it and am so happy! Good job Jamanyala!
